- Mr. Sukumar has donated Mul Cloth, Kora Cotton Cloth, Flannel Cloth and baby wool. We thank Mr. Sukumar for his generosity and help .
- Mr. Vincent Roop Singh donated Rs.100/- to sponsor a baby Kit.
- It was decided that Kora cotton Cloth would be a better option for nappies as they are easier to wash and wear many times. Mr. Sukumar was informed of the same for purchase.
- Meeting with Vyjayanthi :
a) Regarding the Pamphlets :
i. The addition of the I-Shine Project work and the transition to the Angelica Mission was a good addition .
ii. The amount of copies were discussed. Approx amount expected to be collected for the same would be around Rs. 20,000.
b) The sustainability of the ANGELICA MISSION was discussed. It was suggested to keep the Mission as an annual one so that it does not impede newer missions.
c) the lack of involvement of other volunteers were discussed.
d) The total cost factor for the ANGELICA MISSION was calculated and it was decided that the per cost of kit be reduced to Rs.100 from Rs. 200. Changes were made accordingly to the posters. - Mr. Asfaaq brought in more posters for the I-Shine and Angelica Mission . He said he would be out of station due to a study tour, but would definitely try and make it on the 14th .
- Mrs. Purnima came on Saturday to help organize and calculate the stitched nappies and new wool that was bought.
- Ms neetha brought in some wool and baby clothes as samples.
- Anand ( Dept Ward boy) who use to help us make the candles , has been transferred. This is a set back for us as I will have to make the candles from now on. Apparently , some people were not happy with him doing other work , other than his duties. Even though it never obstructed his work, he did manage to do a great job at making creative stuff. I thank Anand for his good work in the project. good luck to him .
- Meeting with Sr. Annunciata of ProLife.
a) Discussed about the I-Shine Project and its similarities (and differences ) with the Prolife group. The I-Shine Project was a more practical, Creative & people freindly group that did not have a strong 'religious' over tone to it.
b) Informed sister of our on going Project. Sister was very pleased and sought to discuss further for an link up with I-Shine.
c) She discussed about her 'Marriage Group' Concept.
d) I suggested that I-Shine could help her spread the ProLife message to different schools . - Next Mission Proposal : We could probably help finance the immunization Program of poor children.

31.10.2009
Present : Mrs Vyjayanthi, Ms. Neetha, Mr Ashfaaq
- Vyjayanthi came to discuss the changes made to the ANGELICA pamphlet. We discussed the approximate cost factor an the needed elements in pamphlet. The pamphlet would be single sheet , two paged. One would contain info about the I-shine project and one ,details about ANGELICA (with a form for personal details).
- Vyjayanthi also took some cloth pieces ( 10m Mul & 5m Kora cotton) to see for stitching price at her place.
- Neetha showed us the crochet work she had learnt by downloading videos from Youtube !
- Neetha mentioned about the places she had been too to check out baby stuff stitching. She had found a reliable lady who would stitch the dress and nappy for just Rs, which is quite reasonable. She has taken the Flannel cloth (10m) for stitching baby towels. She offered to pay for the rest of the cloth and stitching of baby clothes .
- Ashfaaq brought the prints of the Angelica project, which I forwarded to sr. Vandana for information and approval.
- I also approached sister vandana to ask permission to make a calender for 2010 on I-shine and st. Marthas.
- Ashfaaq said that his aunt could help do the stitching for free. As it is a lot of work , I asked him to check on it. even half the amount could be paid if needed.
